Natural onyx is selected for its bands of colour, mineral depth and, in suitable selections, translucency. It can become the focal point of a wall, bar front or decorative piece. Consider the details
Bands and colour transitions can change considerably across a slab. Share the visible panel sizes and ask for current full-slab photographs. Identify important junctions, openings and edges before approving a layout. The website image illustrates character; it is not a reserved slab.
Not every onyx selection transmits light in the same way. If you want backlighting, say so at the start and request a sample review under the proposed lighting. Support, panel construction, joints and lighting access need coordination with the project's designer and installer before a specification is approved.
Onyx is a decorative natural stone that needs care around abrasion and acidic substances. Explain how the surface will be used and cleaned. A dramatic photograph alone cannot establish whether a particular slab is suitable for a busy counter, wet area or exterior.
